AG Jewellery ring sizes
The rings here at AG Jewellery are not a simple band like a wedding ring, and come in all different shapes and sizes, so the sizes on the listings may vary slightly and should be used as a guide only.
Is it better to size up or down?
If you're between sizes, it's usually best to size up rather than down. You may even go back and forth between two sizes; for example, your hands can swell up on hot days, making your ring size slightly larger, and the opposite when it's very cold.
Measuring my ring size at home?
In the absence of a ring sizer or paper tape measure, use some string or a strip of paper. Wrap it around the base of your finger and mark with a pen where one end of the string or paper meets the other. Then line the string or paper against a ruler and read off the measurement in millimetres (MM) this will give you the circumference. To work out the diameter divide your figure by 3.14 then cross reference with a UK size chart.

When you're not wearing your jewellery, keep it in it's box. Try to avoid wearing your jewellery while you sleep, shower and while washing your hands with soaps. You should also avoid using creams and perfumes, if you moisturise your hands, take your jewellery off and put it back on after.
Pools and hot tubs with chlorine in will instantly dull your silver but will tarnish it to, so remember to take them off for your spa days and swimming lessons.

Wash your silver by hand in warm water, Rinse well and hand-dry thoroughly using a microfibre polish cloth. if you don't maintain your jewellery, it may tarnish over time (turn grey/black in colour).
To clean silver that is heavily tarnished, mix a paste of three parts baking soda to one part water. Wet the silver and apply the cleaner with a soft, lint-free cloth, don't use paper towels. Work the paste, turning the cloth as it gets grey. Rinse in warm water and buff dry.
